This is a marketing plan of a company that is out on the roads. Helping drivers get their own truck and start their own business. This has been the plan for many years.
Over the years though, there has been some changes in the marketing plan as the previous one had a fault.
As you see, a lot of the drivers who went to this company got talked into a lease, (because they could make more money as an owner-operator).
Then they were trained as to how to drive the truck. As they tried this on their own they found out they couldn't make any money. So in order to keep their truck, they had to find another driver to help with the driving and keeping the truck moving.
